By the time students are through their first semester of college they have probably figured out some great tricks when it comes to dealing with homework and assignments. The fact will always be that college students try their best most of the time, but, like in real life, sometimes you cannot giver your best. When those times hit there are some great computer resources out there that can help students get through tough assignments.
There are several computer websites like sparknotes.com that students can go to that will detail what is happening in a certain poem or book that a student has to read. These websites are great if a student has to read something that was written in old English like Beowolf or Canterbury Tales. Most students do not have the time to sift through all of the jargon and difficult phrasing. Using a site like sparknotes will cut the homework time in half while giving you an idea of what the assignment was about. Still, you will have to read the actual assignment at some time. Sparknotes gives information but it is not in great detail. It will be enough to get through class then next day but it will not get you through an exam.
If you are really struggling with science homework, there are several sites that show how biological changes within the body or living organisms work. If you are a visual learner rather than the type of person who learns from reading a book, these websites are a great help. You can replay the small videos as many times as you want until you understand what is happening. These are great ways to supliment reading and prepare for tests.
